Every evening we have so much hope that it will be the night. Kelly had contractions but she was able to sleep through the night. She was disappointed when she woke up still pregnant. And, now she has to go to her midwife's appointment today -- another thing she hoped to avoid.Kelly went to get her hair cut since it could be a while until she gets the chance to go once Eleanor is here. It made her feel a lot better. After the hair cut we went to lunch at Dexters, using my $25 restaurant.com gift certificate. It ended up being a very cheap and luscious lunch. I had an unbelieveable salad with grilled shrimp, roasted potatoes, and all sorts of other goodies. It really was one of the best salads I have ever had! Kelly had a bucatini (I love this pasta!!) pesto alfredo with shrimp. A great lunch!
We went to Publix (luckily the other Publix on Rhinehart that is slower paced) and picked up some stuff we needed, like leftover Easter M&Ms. I heard they were good for energy during labor.
Kelly wanted us to go and get pedicures but I think it's just too much money so I did her toenails myself last night. You know you have to be perfect when you go into labor, so now she is totally ready. Kelly has everything she needs for Eleanor, her hair is cut, her toenails are painted and her legs are shaved. Come on Eleanor -- Mom is so ready for you!!
