From all this talk about wanting Eleanor to come, you might have thought that Kelly's due date had already come and gone. I guess we all thought she'd be a bit early. Well, we were wrong. Eleanor has been very happy with her cozy surroundings. I said yesterday that "neither acupressure points, nor licorice, nor pineapple, nor even castor oil can keep Eleanor from her chosen birthdate!!" (In case you don't know, those are all at-home methods of labor induction.)
The storm that I had talked about did blow through and it was pretty bad. I guess it was the same storm that did so much damage in the Atlanta area the day before. Lots and lots of wind and rain here and some tornado touch downs but we were safe and it didn't concern Eleanor in the least.
Kelly and Clint went to see Coraline at the movies. When they got home we went out for sandwiches at TooJays. They were delicious, but we had idiots sitting behind us who were banging into the booth and then screaming across the restaurant at another group they were "with." You'd think they owned the place. Annoying!
We went to bed hopeful that it would be "the night," but the date wasn't right for Ms. Eleanor.
